Intrapartum care : care of healthy women and their babies during childbirth National Collaborating Centre for Women’s and Children’s Health (NCC-WCH) Commissioned by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence Final Draft for Consultation 23 June 2006 – 29 August 2006 (PDF file) The National Collaborating Centre for Women’s and Children’s Health (NCC-WCH) is a friendly and enthusiastic team. We are funded by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) to produce evidence-based clinical guidelines for the National Health Service. We work collaboratively with Guideline Development Groups (including healthcare professionals and lay representatives) and an extensive range of stakeholder organisations. The Centre is based at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH). We have published guidelines on Antenatal care, Fertility, Caesarean section, Type 1 diabetes in children, and Long-acting reversible contraception.
