Abstract (English) : | An open randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted at the labor ward of Wad Medani Hospital, Sudan to test the efficacy of misoprostol vs. oxytocin for labor induction. Patients admitted from August 2004 through February 2005 were approached for participation in the study. Inclusion criteria were specific women with single live babies, with a favorable cervix (Bishop Score > 5) and intact membranes. |
