Il y a plusieurs indications pour un accouchement vaginal assisté ; celles-ci pourraient être dues à une atteinte fœtale, à des indications maternelles pour éviter la manœuvre de Valsalva, ou à une progression insuffisante du travail. Aucune indication n’est absolue et chaque cas doit être considéré individuellement.

Argument (English):

There are several indications for assisted vaginal delivery; these could be due to fetal compromise, maternal indications to avoid Valsalva, or inadequate progress in labour. No indication is absolute and each case should be considered individually.

Existem várias indicações para o parto vaginal assistido; isto pode ser devido ao comprometimento fetal, indicações maternas para evitar Valsalva ou progresso inadequado no trabalho de parto. Nenhuma indicação é absoluta e cada caso deve ser considerado individualmente.
