Résumé (français) : | Aux Etats Unis, environ 35 000 naissances (0,9%) par an se déroulent à domicile. Approximativement ¼ de ces accouchements n’étaient pas planifiés à domicile, ou non-assistés. Bien que le Collège Américain des Gynécologues Obstétriciens pensent que les hôpitaux et les centres de naissances accrédités soient les lieux de naissances les plus sûrs, chaque femme a le droit de prendre une décision médicalement informée concernant son accouchement. |
Abstract (English) : | In the United States, approximately 35,000 births (0.9%) per year occur in the home. Approximately one fourth of these births are unplanned or unattended. |
