Comments : | Cette revue systématique de littérature fait la synthèse des connaissances scientifiques issues des 65 études qualitatives et quantitatives retenues et réalisées dans 34 pays. Elle porte sur les mauvais traitements subis par les femmes lors de leur(s) accouchement(s) en établissement, afin de développer une typologie permettant de décrire cette problématique. |
Argument (français) : | Cette revue systématique présente une typologie complète, fondée sur des preuves, des mauvais traitements infligés aux femmes pendant l’accouchement dans les établissements de santé et montre que ces mauvais traitements peuvent se produire au niveau de l’interaction entre la femme et le prestataire, aussi bien qu’au niveau du système de santé. |
Argument (English): | This systematic review presents a comprehensive, evidence-based typology of the mistreatment of women during childbirth in health facilities, and demonstrates that mistreatment can occur at the level of interaction between the woman and provider, as well as through systemic failures at the health facility and health system levels. |
Argumento (português): | Esta revisão sistemática apresenta uma tipologia abrangente e baseada em evidências dos maus-tratos de mulheres durante o parto em unidades de saúde e demonstra que os maus-tratos podem ocorrer no nível de interação entre a mulher e o provedor, bem como falhas sistêmicas na unidade de saúde e níveis do sistema de saúde. |
