Abstract (English) : | On February 6, 2008, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) released a new homebirth statement, similar to their previous homebirth statements, stating that all women would be better off being delivered in hospital. This article presents what an evidence-based ACOG statement on homebirths would say and includes the responses of 15 midwives and doulas to the new ACOG Homebirth statement. |
