Abstract (English) : | BACKGROUND. There has been discussion about the possible occurrence of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in mothers after difficult childbirth. METHOD. Four cases with a symptom profile suggestive of PTSD commencing within 48 hours of childbirth are presented. |
