Résumé (français) : | Contexte : Un nombre croissant d’études ont récemment documenté le stress post-traumatique lié à l’expérience de l’accouchement à terme et à l’accouchement à l’accouchement. L’ampleur de cette affection et les facteurs susceptibles de mettre une femme à risque de développer des symptômes de trouble de stress post-traumatique post-partum (PTS-PTS) lié à l’accouchement ne sont pas entièrement compris. |
Abstract (English) : | Background: Posttraumatic stress related with the childbirth experience of full-term delivery with health outcomes has been recently documented in a growing body of studies. The magnitude of this condition and the factors that might put a woman at risk for developing childbirth-related postpartum posttraumatic stress disorder (PP-PTSD) symptoms are not fully understood. |
Sumário (português) : | Antecedentes: O estresse pós-traumático relacionado à experiência do parto de parto a termo com resultados de saúde foi recentemente documentado em um crescente corpo de estudos. A magnitude dessa condição e os fatores que podem colocar uma mulher em risco de desenvolver sintomas de transtorno de estresse pós-traumático pós-parto (PP-SPT) não são totalmente compreendidos. |

Argument (français) : | Bien que la majorité des femmes se débrouillent bien, l’accouchement peut être perçu comme une expérience très stressante et peut même entraîner l’apparition de symptômes de PP-PTSD. Des recherches supplémentaires sont nécessaires pour comprendre les conséquences de l’adaptation post-partum et du stress post-traumatique lié à l’accouchement. |
Argument (English): | Although the majority of women cope well, childbirth for some can be perceived as a highly stressful experience and even result in the development of PP-PTSD symptoms. More research is needed to understand postpartum adaption and childbirth-related posttraumatic stress outcomes. |
Argumento (português): | Embora a maioria das mulheres lide bem, o parto de algumas pode ser percebido como uma experiência altamente estressante e até resultar no desenvolvimento de sintomas de SPT-PPT. Mais pesquisas são necessárias para entender a adaptação pós-parto e os resultados do estresse pós-traumático relacionado ao parto. |
