Abstract (English)  :

Childbirth can be a difficult experience, and sometimes even causes childbirth-related posttraumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD). C-PTSD can affect both parents and clinical teams. This article presents the symptomatology and the clinical specificities of C-PTSD, as well as its consequences on the couple, parenthood, the child, and future pregnancies. It also reviews the preventative measures and therapeutic approaches to tackle C-PTSD, and ends with clinical recommendations.
