Argument (français) : | Cette étude pilote montre qu’un grand nombre de femmes ayant subi une fausse couche ou une grossesse extra-utérine remplissaient les critères de diagnostic du Stress Post-Traumatique probable. Beaucoup souffrent d’anxiété modérée à sévère et d’une dépression moindre. La morbidité psychologique, et en particulier les symptômes du Stress Post-Traumatique, persistent au moins 3 mois après la perte de grossesse. |
Argument (English): | This pilot study shows that many women with miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy met the diagnostic criteria for probable post-traumatic stress. Many suffer from moderate to severe anxiety and depression. The psychological morbidity, and in particular the symptoms of Post-traumatic stress, persist at least 3 months after the loss of pregnancy. |
Argumento (português): | Este estudo piloto mostra que um grande número de mulheres com aborto espontâneo ou gravidez ectópica atendeu aos critérios de diagnóstico para estresse pós-traumático provável. Muitos sofrem de moderada a grave ansiedade e depressão. A morbidade psicológica e, em particular, os sintomas do estresse pós-traumático, persistem pelo menos três meses após a perda da gravidez. |
