Résumé (français) : | “Pour résumer, il semble que la procédure de débriefing selon le schéma de Mitchell (priorité au narratif et au cognitif, plutôt qu’expression des émotions, et visée éducative et préventive, plutôt que thérapeutique) soit appropriée surtout aux « incidents critiques » chez des sauveteurs professionnels, tels que pompiers, policiers, personnels de Croix-Rouge et soignants. L’incident critique n’implique pas nécessairement traumatisme et, dans la plupart des cas, on a affaire à un groupe de sauveteurs habitués à faire face à des catastrophes pourvoyeuses de tels incidents « banaux ».(…) |

Argument (français) : | Rappel historique de l’évolution du debriefing vers sa pratique française. L’hétérogénéité des résultats tantôt neutres, tant négatifs est rappelé, ainsi que l’hétérogénéité des pratiques qui nécessite de plus amples études avec une méthodologie précise et un personnel formé. |
Argument (English): | Historical reminder of the evolution of debriefing towards its practice in France. The heterogeneity of both neutral and negative results is recalled, as well as the heterogeneity of practices which requires further study with a precise methodology and trained personnel. |
