Abstract (English) : | ntroduction — Conceptual issues The provision of appropriate information to pregnant women and their partners, in relation to screening for Down’s syndrome reveals itself a complex task for caregivers. Difficulties are related to the rapidity with which testing has developed, to the poor quality of the test, to the fact that some degree of implicit testing takes place and to the nature of the condition itself. |
