Argument (français) : | Etude effectuée sur les registres du Missouri, 1999-2000, sur des grossesse non gémellaires avec naissance à terme. Comparées aux femmes qui prennent 11 à 16 kg (prise recommandée par l’Institut de médecine), Les femmes qui prennent moins de 11 kg ont moins de risques de: prééclampsie, disproportions céphalo-pelviennes, échec de déclenchement, césarienne, et macrosomie ; mais plus de risques de "petit bébé" (RCIU? ou "petit pour l’âge gestationnel). Celles qui prennent plus de 16 kg ont: plus de risques de prééclampsie, d’échec du déclenchement, de césarienne et de macrosomie, mais moins de risques d’avoir un petit bébé. L’étude conclut que les recommandations de l’Institut de médecine permettent de bien de minimiser les risques de la grossesse et de l’accouchement, tous risques confondus. |
