Abstract (English) : | Population based, retrospective cohort of all women with one PCS who attempted VBAC at term. There was a 74.2% success and a uterine rupture rate of 0.35%. The incidence of uterine rupture was higher in women who had not had a previous vaginal birth and those whose labor was induced with prostaglandins. The risk of perinatal death was increased in hospitals with less than 3000 births per year. |
