Abstract (English)  :

Retro, examine factors associated with uterine rupture in patients attempting VBAC. 28 symptomatic ruptures in 972 attempts at VBAC (2.88%) The use of preinduction cervical ripening agents was significantly associated with an increased risk of symptomatic uterine rupture (odds ration 3.92) Conclusion: preinduction cervical ripening is associated with an increased risk of uterine rupture.
