Abstract (English) : | Prospective observational, 642 pts with PCS had US at 36-38 wks separated into 4 gps on basis of LUS thickness. Overall freq. of defective scars was 4% (15 UR, 10 dehiscences). The freq. of defects rose as thickness decreased. No defects if thickness was 4.5 mm, 2% with thickness 3.6-4.5, 10% with values 2.6-3.5 and 16% when thickness was 1.5-2.5. Conc-in hosp where repeat CS is norm, encourage TOL with thickness 3.5 or greater. |
