“L’épidémie de la césarienne - l’obstétrique sur la sellette.” -- Personne ne peut penser objectivement qu’une femme sur cinq (aux USA) a besoin d’un acte chirurgical lourd pour devenir la mère en bonne santé d’un enfant en bonne santé. Les experts estiment que le taux national de césariennes devrait être la moitié de ce qu’il est aujourd’hui, ce qui veut dire concrètement qu’aux USA à peu près 500 000 femmes, chaque année, subissent une césarienne sans aucune nécessité.
