Abstract (English) : | Rand. control study, 76 MDs in 16 community hosp eval audit/feedback and local opinion leader education as methods of encouraging compliance with a guideline for VBAC. After 24 months, the TOL/VBAC rates in the audit/feedback gp were no different, but rates of VBAC were 46% and 85% higher respectively with MDs education by opinion leader and with opinion leaders. The overall CS rates were reduced only in the opinion leader education group. The use of opinion leaders improved quality of care. |
